I am very pleased to announce that I shall be giving the address again at Oadby and Wigston Borough Council’s Holocaust Memorial Day event on Tuesday 27th January 2026.

It is always an honour and a privilege to mark this important commemoration. And especially to be able to talk on the theme, which this year is ‘Bridging Generations’.

All are welcome to attend from 12 noon at the Sheila Mitchell Pavilion in Peace Memorial Park, Wigston.

If you’re able to come along, it would be great to see you. If you can’t, I shall post my address on this website after the commemoration event.

I would have certainly attended this event if I was in UK which O always did as a councilor of Oadby and Wigston I am at the moment in Dubai. Hollocaust Memorial Day for me is a sordid reminder of a crime against humanity which will in perpetuity be an ever lasting stigma on the face of human civilization. Certainly a poignant moment of reflection and prayers for those who perished ; for their eternal peace and alleviation of painful memory for those who survived and lost loved ones.
